knock sensor+drop resistor mod=great improvement

I'm very pleased with the new knock sensor and my drop resistor mod. I haven't been to the ran my car for a couple months and the best I could get was 16.5 in the quarter w/ bad ks. I fixed the knock sensor about a month and half ago and just this Thursday didn't the drop resistor mod. Ran the quarter with a best of 4 runs at 15.8. can't beleive my time increased .7
now I am going to get that y-pipe and maybe some no2

I have a conical air filter from auto zone and a cheap muffler from the local shop.

I beleive the elevation was around 1100 ft.

1100 above sea level, I think that is a pretty good time then.

I wasn't sure about how high I was about sea level and since ya'll think it's a pretty important factor I checked it up on the internet and the source I read said 1100 ft. guess I knew more than I thought.

does the elevation and the density of the air really make that much of a difference?
