I changed these down turned pipes to dual straight exit chrome ones already. Will post pics in a day or two. You can almost see the RSB in this shot. Note the low stance on stock I30T suspension.

This is a front/side shot when I picked up my lady. She's giving my that look, and likely thinking (Not again! Lets go.)

This is a shot showing how different the center part of the dash is over the Maxima.

I was and still am pretty happy with the looks, just the tail pipes which I fixed. Other then maybe lowering it more, there is not much else to upgrade as far as looks. Maybe tint, but I've been liking the clean look.

Great

That's a fantastic looking car, I'd much rather one of those than a 5th Gen Maxima.

Where does the GPS navigation come out of the dash?

I don't see the cutout for it to pop up.

Not all I30t's have the navigation. In the 2001 you dont have a center console in the dash if you dont have a navigation system, but if u do have the navigation there is a center console. I hope this makes sence and helps you out.

No, you still have a center console. The Nav comes out the very top of the dash, above that center clock. I will post pics od the new tail pipes today, though my bumber got scraped by an idiot, and gets painted in the morning.

Here is a Dark Side shot, you can see how the tail pipes now exit

Here is a nice angle shot to get a better look.

Here is a cool shot many cars see, including a 97 Mustang GT auto the other day Shows off the RSB, and another shot of my custom I30 tail pipes. Those with the ugly stock ones know how much better this is.

I didn't go craxy with DTM style or anthing, as I wanted the car to keep its sporty, yet classy look.

Dude, looks great. Welcome to i30 ownership

Tell me how easy it was to replace the exhaust tips. Do the stock ones pull out? What did you have to buy? Size, etc. I'd like to do the same to mine.

Thanks,
/aac

Thanks for all the kind words. You can't just pull the stock pipes off, you need to cut them off, and weld new ones on. Its not as complicated as this sounds, and the all can be done for under $50.
