Should I leave the little red piece on the rear tail lights when I am clearing them? or should I take it out?
I already cleared mine without the little piece, and I took the bulb out for that piece so there is no light shining there. I am thinking of either putting in a blue bulb instead or leaving it as it is, or putting that little red piece back.
I need suggestions??

just leave it alone, why do you want to mess with your tailz, if you already cleared them. Spend that time on something more important, like go see your girl or spend some useful time with your wife.

I took the red out. You can also leave the red in and use it as support to lay the clear lense over it. I took that light bulb out too.

Got a dumb idea...

Tell me what you guys think: Okay, what if I took out the yellow and red parts of the lenses, and then painted them in the red on the top half. The top parts would still be red, but look much clearer, like that guy who didn't put the flourescent piece in his tails, right? IMHO, that might look nice, as long as all four parts matched.

painting them

I doubt painting them will look good.
You are gonna be just like another civic on the road with those clear/faded lights. I think you should just clear the bottom piece.
