What's up with ContiExtremeContact's?

Everywhere I look they're sold out. Why is it taking so long for them to be restocked? Did it have a defect or something and they're working on it; or is it just the fact that they can't meet up with demand?

I talked to tirerack rep.

Extremes sold out due to demand. Continental moved production to bigger factory. thus the even more delay. should be out end of nov early dec. bu that time snow might be coming down here.

good luck.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna need some new tires as I got a bulge in my front left tire, and the tread itself could be better for winter time. Might just have to go with another tire I suppose.

I ordered mine in stock size 215/55/16, what size did you get yours in? If it's by chance the same size as the one i'm looking for... where'd you get it?
