KNock sensor and air intake sensor

Hi
My CEL on my maxima 95 is on. I have 107k miles on it.
Took it to a mechanic and it shows that the Knock sensor and air intake sensor needs to be replaced.
Has anyone experienced this problem before?
Where can i buy these sensors online and how easy is it to install. Also, what would happen if i do not replce the knock sensor.
Thank you for your help.

your intake sensor is the little thing that plugs into the big black air box. How the HELL do people expect me not to be an ******* when a question like this is asked. Same thing every single day. SEARCH for gods sake...

If you don't replace your knock sensor you can experience some performance loss.

You can find these parts at NAPA, no need spending extra cash at the dealer. Its very easy to install both of them. Haynes manual isn't the greatest but it'll give you a idea as to where these parts are located under your hood.

good luck!

NAPA charges $180 or so for the knock sensor, the dealer $140+ and ebay $91 shipped. People have to stop believeing that chain stores cost less then the dealer all the time. AUTOZONE is usually cheapest but requires a core charge...
