Dealings with batteriesareus

This is a negative post.

I ordered from him, DudLee Brennfoerder, on November 3, 2003 and my credit card was charged on 11/4/03. I have made numerous attempts to contact him via his website, direct email and telephone. The only response I got was to the effect of "Let me check on your order and I will get back to you."

I never received the Optima battery nor did I receive any tracking information or any other information.

I contacted my credit card company on 11/20/03 and requested they get involved. Even if I get my money back I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB and Chamber of Commerce in Edgar, Nebraska regarding Mr. Brennfoerder's business practices.

An update - it looks life it was finally shipped, even though I only got one message from them. UPS has it now and I will drop in another line when it arrives. Looks like an entire month will pass between ordering and receiving.

I did receive the battery. Four weeks after it had been paid for.
Not a good business practice.
