I have a small crack in one foglight and I am not paying $100+ right now I will wait till summer but I need that stuff to make sure it doesnt crack worse. Can someone point me in the right direction. I remember someone was selling them for like $7.

The headlight and foglight protection kit from xpel (http://www.xpel.com/) is $69. Ouch. I recently installed the 3M clear bra from Invinca-shield on my bumper, hood, and front fenders. They sent me a little extra which was just enough to do my fogs! Invinca-shield's prices are pretty good, but they don't currently offer a headlight kit.

Still hunting...

Go to xpel.com and click on shop, then bulk. They sell raw 3M material for around 2.50 a foot. Shouldn't take much.

How difficult was it to do the front bumper. I have the Xpel clear bra. Although almost invisible it is starting to show some wear and tear. I want to replace it with one large piece and custom cut everything.

The front bumper was a pretty rough time. Though it just hit me today that I may have switched the sides. It's pretty easy to accidently switch since the kit came with the bumper piece cut in half right down the middle. The effect of this "side switching" was the slits in the film that help it fit around the corner of the bumper weren't in the correct location. I ended up having to cut the corner of the bumper pieces out to make them fit. I really wish this would have hit me earlier.

I have posted a how to for the Invinva-shield on my website:
http://maxima.cardomain.com/id/housecor

So your bra is showing wear? What does it look like? Yellow or just a bit pitted? Also, how long have you had it?

Oh, and I can't imagine trying to trim the material to make it fit the bumper by hand. It would be extremely difficult making it look decent. The material isn't easy to cut clean once wet and I'm sure it would need some additional "tweaking" as you attempted to install it...
