Help!! Need to support my husband's habit!

Hi all! I want to surprise my hubby with some stuff for his car this x-mas. He's put this habit (addiction) on-hold this past year so that we could do some other stuff. Now I want him to be able to start getting his car where he wants it to be.

Can anyone direct me to a good site for exteior aftermarket parts? I've been to the links page and there are too many! I figure this is a good place to start, as I don't have to know a lot about the technical stuff with performance enhancement.

Thanks so much!

Lori

You can goto www.RedlineMax.com and get your hubby a set of Hyper Black clears ($45) for the front and a set of Red/White Tail lights ($99) ... if you buy two things from them you can save on shipping

My wife is like that now. I figure I deserve to spoil myself, seeing as how I just got back from Iraq.

Thanks guys!! I can't imaging why a girl would complain about having a man with a well-kept, stylin' ride! (Although, just make sure you spend some $ on your woman too!!) Plus, I love scootin' around in it for girl's night.

TofuShop, thanks for the excellent link! That's exactly what I was looking for, something easy. I think I may even steal his car for a day and install 'em myself! I love taking things apart!

to you all!!

Ok, you've got a true girlie girl on your hands. What are these?

I've been on a few sites, but they haven't let me search by keyword and I can't find this. Don't mean to be a dumb blonde pain in the @$$ (I'm truely not blonde) but could someone tell me what these are?

the y pipe will give you a few extra horsepower, not a tough install if you are mechanically inclined with air tools. The other two are suspension mods which help the handling of the car. I wish my girlfriend bought me stuff for my car.

Araffio's Homepage

Look here for some great ideas. For exterior mods I would first get some rims.

My favorite exterior mods:
1. Red/clear taillights- $100
2. Clear corners (in front bumper)- $30
3. Rims+tires- $500-$2000

Power/ Handling
1. Y pipe- 15 hp- $200-$300
2. Rear Sway Bar- $100

I think a Stillen bodykit, Red/Clear taillights, and some diamond cut clear corners would be great exterior Christmas gifts.

I think I'm going to go with the red/ white tail lights and the clear corners for x-mas. This is something I can take over to my friends garage, install and bring home and say "surprise!". I'll leave a few hundred under the tree and he can get whatever else he wants to go with it.

I'll post pics eventually!

Thanks to all of you that haven't blasted me for asking dumb new questions...I know they're dumb and you usually wouldn't put up with them. I'm just working with a small window of time before the holidays. So, thanks for understanding.

Also, thanks for giving me a link to Araffio's hp!! Very nice! Although, I'm slowing going to have to break myself into spending that kind of money on the car. I need a new set of wheels before we go too nutty. (I hate my car!)

Later guys,
L

DanNY - if you really want me to do your taxes, shoot me an email and we can talk about it!!

whats your price range? best exterior mod is a kit and a drop and rims. If your price range is under 1k, get a kit and springs.

Tint was actually a b-day present two years ago. That was the last thing we did to the car.
