I recently noticed that I have a small oil leak under the front of the engine. It appears that oil is dripping from the wires coming off the oil pressure sending unit. I had a shop look at it and they said I had a leaky oil sending unit. I had it replaced just 8 months ago, but I went ahead and had it replaced again. Unfortunatley, the leak is still there. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yeah, my '96 had the same problem. I changed it and it has been good since. Is it possible that whoever changed it didnt torque it in there enough? Dude, just grab another one, there only around $10. Next time you are under there changing the oil, just swap it out. It is possible that the new unit you got was defective to begin with. Working in the auto parts business for 9 years, I have seen LOTS of things like that happen. Good luck.

Well, I replaced it myself and made sure it was well-torqued. I don't know how much torque should be applied (even the FSM doesn't specify it), so I just tightened it up as much as I could without stripping the thread. Thanks for the reply.
