Went to a performance shop to get my audiovox/prestige aps996 alarm/remote start installed. This guy is usually pretty decent in his installations but kinda screwed up on this. Didn't get the door triggers quite right, and most importantly, didn't figure out the remote start function. He says its all hooked up but he can't figure out how to get the remote to function right. The good news is that the install was free, the bad news is that I gotta find an authorized Audiovox installation shop to finish up the job. I called Audiovox but they're off for the whole holiday weekend, so I don't know where any authorized shops are. Does anybody know of an authorized Audiovox shop or at least someone who really knows what he's doing with the Audiovox system anywhere in New York? Thanks in advance.
