subwoofer feedback???

Hey guys, I don't know much about car audio, but since i got my car back today from a mechanic, my subwoofer has been periodically making this bad feedback sound. he had to take out the backseat for my springs and struts install. I have MTX 8302 amp and 2 12" MTX thunder subs. i bought them from curcuit city about 1-2 years ago. this has happened before and they fixed it. Can i solve the problem myself or do i need to take it back to circuit city????? any advice is welcome. thanks.

why does he have to take off the backseat to install struts/springs? aren't the bolts accessed from the trunk? (in the 4th gen they are)

it sounds like your ground isn't making a solid connection. Do you know where your amp is grounded to?

Might also want to check the speaker wires coming out of the amp and make sure they're not loose. Lastly make sure the wire connections to the subs are solid too.

Definately sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere. I'd check to see if anything loosened up when you had the other work done

if u can't figure it out, wire a switch to the remote turn on that way u can just turn ur amp off when ur not using ur system

If he had to take the back seat out to R&R the struts, find a better mechanic.

Definitely check the connection of the ground.

Yea, check the ground and make sure he didn't run the power cables right next to the RCA's because that could be causing it...
