Hey, I just bought a '96 Maxima yesterday. I had a couple of questions,
1. Does anyone know if they make iceman cold air intake for '96 Maxima's.. i checked the site and couldn't find it. If so, how is it, if not if anyone has cold air intake can you tell me what kind and how you like it?
2. I want to buy a computer chip, anyone have any preferences on what kind, etc. Please tell me what kind and of you have and how you like it, too.
3. I'm not sure whether I want 17's or 18's, someone try to persuade me.

and if there is anything else that you guys can think of that isn't too expensive and isn't "dumb to do", let me know. Thanks guys.

 

Congrats on the buy.

1) Read the FAQ, you can find the link at the top right of the page. Do a search, type in "intake". If you are looking strictly for a cold air intake, Place Racing provides one for the Maxima. Again, do a search on "Place Racing". If you are looking for any intake, there is also the cone intake from Stillen or JWT. People like both cold air or cone intake.

2) So far, there is only one, possibly two chips for the ECU. One by UPRD, and another one by JWT. Although I'm not sure about the one from JWT. For more information on the UPRD ECU, go to http://www.maximadriver.com. People love the UPRD ECU. There is a post on this page about someone's impression.

3) Can't really tell you anything about rim size. I'm still running stock. But I'm planning on going on 17"... mostly due to monetary limitations.

4) Anything else... up to you. Change your lights, debadge, put on stickers, put in blacklights... make your car your own.
