starter revival?

starter revival?
My starter is not working properly. Today I had to tap it with a wrench to start the car. Will lubricating the starter (as described in the "how to" from motorvate) fix this? Or do I just change it?

I'd try lube the starter first. Easy to remove and reinstall anyway. Will cost you only time. If problem persists, then go for a new starter all together.
