Help! Spoiler LED Keeps Blowing Fuses

Help! Spoiler LED Keeps Blowing Fuses

i am trying to install my new spoiler led and no matter what i do it keeps blowing fuses. i tried the spoiler led connector on the trunk, hte brake light, 3rd brake light. all of them; what should i do. it has a good ground.

Did you install it correctly? are any wires rubbing against metal and shorting out? is the new led the correct wattage? tapping into the wrong power source? Tried putting in a slightly bigger fuse? (kinda dangerous, i know) other then that... i am not sure... unless the led is defective...

i figured it out. the body shop that painted and installed the spoiler messedup. there was i little tile part of the wire touch the screw in the spoiler and it cause it to short.


but now its fixed but i droped 2 screws and a plastic cap in the trunk lid

Yay, i was correct! glad you solved the problem. the same thing happened to me with my 95 maxima... i was dumbfounded untill i took off the spoiler.
