I got my Frankencar intake yesterday...took about a month to get. The quality seems good but I was expecting the K&N filter to be bigger...the one I got is RC-3870. What K&N filter did everyone else get with their intake? I didnt install it yet because of the snow but I wanted to know if I need a mounting bracket or something to hold the intake. Can I just install it without mounting it to anything? Heres a pic..

 

yea, when its that small u r good. I think thats standard size on frankencar. Its jwt and stillen that are bigger. Those are also heavier so they recommend brackets for those but the one u have will be fine without a bracket.
