First, find out where it is leaking from. Get a friend to run the hose on the car, while you look in the trunk throught the ski hole. Use a flashlight, and once you know where it is leaking from, then you can figure out why it is leaking. Could be weather stripping, or you may need to adjust the way your trunk closes. If you have any screw holes, or an antenna on the trunk, the wire can let water seep in. Maybe you are missing a grommet under the spare tire, there are lots of reasons to get water in there, but you have to find out why before you can fix it.

my trunk is leaking too. Its probably from the bolt holes that holds the spoiler on. I siliconed every possible hole I can find... I even sealed up some spots where the tail light is attached. I want to put my subs and amp in soon, but I need to fix the leak problem first.

My friend had tha problem in his Integra. The previous owner had opened up the tail lights to remove the amber portion, but didn't seal them correctly.

If you have a spoiler, it often can leak in through the mounting holes past the bolts, especially if there's corrosion.

What you need to do is remove the trunk-lid liner (carpet-y piece) from the inside of the trunk lid & have a look at those mounting bolts. Are they corroded? If so, chances are, you've got a leak there. This is exactly what happened to me.

I tried to loosen the bolts, but they were so corroded, they wouldn't budge. So, I took some clear silicone RTV adhesive and gobbed up the ends & all around the base of the bolt/nut inside the trunklid, effectively forming a seal between the water and the trunk interior. Haven't had a problem since & it's been over a year. . .

If you determine that's not the problem & the trunk seal is not to blame, remove your spare & have a look at the rubber grommets (1 or 2, I forget) in the bottom of the spare tire well: are they there, or can you see the ground? If they are there, are they seated properly, so as to maintain a seal between inside/outside of the car?

Hope this is helpful - good luck!
