creaking noise around winshield...

whenever i am on a bumpy or semi-bumpy road it sounds liek my winshield is cracking or something? i dunno the sound seems to be coming from the seal or something... Is it because it is really cold outside that it would cause it to behave differently and thus make a sound? Its really annoying

good luck trying to find it. It is a cold weather problem.
It has been happening on my 01 SE for the past 2 winters. The noise is not
from the A pillar but is more in the front corner of windshield where it meets the dash. Let me know when you correct it.

Hey, I've got the same noise. I could here it when it was warmer but now it is dowright annoying. Going in on Monday to have this fixed. It appears if my wife presses down on the side window defrost vent on the top of the dash it makes the noise go away.

I have the same creaking. It is because of the cold, but i think it's the seal on the window. I don't think about it though.

Ditto. I just started experiencing the same thing in my 2k2. Seeing as I dont drive my Max that often, I'm assuming its a cold weather phenomena.
