Aftermarket alarms...
I know this has probably been discussed before and the search is down and there is nothing in the how-to section so I am wondering if someone could help me figure out how to bypass the stock alarm on a 2k2. Looking to install an aftermarket alarm with shock/motion sensors.
For the guys that have done this already, was it diff. to bypass the stock alarm. I've done alarm installs before and have never had to bypass an alarm of this kind(chipped key). Right now I have a remote starter and have bypassed it w/a bypass module and works fine. Is this all I need to do or do I need someother type of bypass module? Did I just answer my own question? Just need to check and make sure I was right or wrong. ANY input is well appreciated. Happy Holidays guys!
