2000 MAX loose brake light connections?

Anybody else have this problem? My driver side brake light connection is loose, for everytime I close trunk or go over a bump it goes out. I then have to remove the panneling in the trunk and tap on it so it goes back on. ANY SUGGESTIONS to fix this permanently?

I would say that either your bulb is loose in the socket or the socket itself is damaged. Try another bulb first to see if that solves trhe problem.

take out the bulb and look closely.... I had that happen to me.. and finally the bulb burn out.. I thought it was the bad connection.. but it was not.. it was the bulb that is slowly dying

If the bulb was replaced, it's likely it wasn't properly snapped into the socket. Being an all glass bulb, people are overly careful with it. Make sure you hear the bulb click in place.

Check the bulb as they all said. Same happened to me until the bulb just went out.

Seventhed ? It's the bulb almost ready to burn out... Just replace them both b/c it happened to me 2 weeks apart on both bulbs.
