Blinker clicking...Is there a way to stop it

I have Generation II altezzas and since then my blinkers click really fast... this is getting a little annoying... Is there a way to stop the blinkers from making the noise? I like the quick flashing but that click, click, click is driving me crazy... any inputs welcomed... Thanks

ohh happy new year...

well for starters, you're a ricer... and you like the fast click and yes, you can simply remove the clicker. i know its behind the dash, and its just a big relay that clicks back and forth. i have removed one on a GM, and it wasnt detrimental to the function of the turn signal light or the function of the signals themselves. im not sure if the same goes for maxima signals. it could be a big relay that actually turns the lights on and off, or it could be there for sound purposes.

there in lies the issue. no one has done it on a maxima yet. so you can be the adventerous one to try first no one wants to take their dash apart and look. the best thing i can suggest is flip on your signal, and listen for where the click is. behind the dash? in the fuse box? etc
