This breakdown shows that the 04 maxima is a better top end car. Almost 21 mph in a stock auto in the last 1/8 is damn impressive. My best trap nearly stock was almost identical I believe 96.7 but I did have an UDP at that time.

Great time

Matt

Nice runs. I looked up the conditions and you're right, they couldn't be more ideal. 40-50 degrees, 30-35% humidity, and most importantly a high baro pressure (30.40). Density altitude was simply perfect for racing.

During Thanksgiving weekend I missed out on the last track day of the season and I'm still kicking myself for not going. The conditions were exactly like those you raced in. All my friends were .2-.4 quicker than they ever been. A guy in a stock Altima 5 speed ran a 14.2@97mph with a 2.1 60 foot that day The other times I've seen him run he was only in the 14.5-14.6@95mph range.

they have more top end, more weight too. it kinda evens out i guess. But mod the 2k2/3 and the hp/weight ratio grows more significantly now doesnt it

i have only 4 runs on vid but i cant put them on the computer, ill try next time and see if i can, my best run on camera is a 14.6, which im sorry is still a fantastic run as far as im concerned out of a 6th gen???, i would have been happy with that, i think its better than most or some 5th gens around, but the 14.4 shockeed me thats why i think i can do better..

Im sure you can too. Weather is the largest factor in racing I hit it on almost a perfect night when I was running 13.7's@99 with just a couple bolt ons in my auto 5th gen. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see a 14.3 stock.
