Tires in the 1/4 mile

The stock tires on the maxima's 15's are 215/60/15 or something of the sort. I at least know it's 60. Anyway, would there be any benefit to getting let's say 215/50/15 or even less? Maybe a 45?

ya, that would make the diameter smaller, thereby increasing the amount of torque you can put to the ground. You'll accelerate quicker. But traveling on the highway you'll be at a higher RPM to go the same speed (your speedo will be thrown off too)

Do you think it would make a difference at the track or no?

Street tires just don't work at the track. They are like an omnidirectional antenna.

They radiate equally poor in all directions.
