Somebody asked for this not so long ago.

Well, spill the beans, fellas... who is this 'mystery person'?? Heck, I'd do that just to move my monitor up so it'll quit hitting my shift **** all the time!

Well ... some guy from West Palm Beach, FL who is very proud of his new ford focus zx3.

Why wouldn't you just send him a note? Tell him you don't believe that it is technically possible to move a/c unit to the bottom ... and ask for the details and additional pictures (possibly from the inside ...?)

I was thinking of that, but the last time I did that to someone on Ebay, I got this 'nasty-gram' from said person talking about how giving me that info would rob them of any potential sales, etc...

Guess I'll just have to dig into my dash and figure it out on my own.... Shouldn't be too hard, I think.

I have an automatic unit myself - so I have no way of looking at it.
In my understanding it can be done with additional vertical links and additional 2 brackets holding these links (preventing movements to left-right but allowing to rotate - whenever controls are moved; 10% movement of controls would mean 10% rotation of the link attached to it). Just an idea.
