i have a problem with the driver side door. When i press the the button to unlock the lock will go up but the door cant open, the handle is jammed. Any ideas on what the problem can be and if I will be able to fix myself.

You gotta open the door and look for what is wrong

Do you mean you can't get the door open, or just the lock doesn't work? If you can't get door open no how E-mail me & I'll give you some help.
