I installed my Cattman S/S y-pipe about 2 weeks ago, and to make it fit, I had to nudge the rear part of the exhaust system back, and now under very light acceleration, like starting from a stop sign, I hear a vibration that seemes to be coming from the b-pipe area. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so...what did you do to alleviate it. The rest of my exhaust is stock. Thanks!

hmmmmm...........................

Not wanting to seem catty just offering some genuine assistance I would start by raising the car up enough to see under the car and pull and push on the tail pipe. The pipes are all mounted on rubber doughnuts and will move to some degree. If you had to push the cat and B pipe back for the Y pipe to fit you have probably pushed a pipe or bracket real close to one of the supports or floor or you may have not installed the bracket which holds the cat in place as it was. There is also a chance the sound you hear is the pipe hitting the sway bar, if that is the case call Brian.

You should be able to adjust the system although you may have to bend one of the supports to give the required clearance.

like stated above...

Check the bracket under the very center of the car... I had to put 2 washers to make sure the "B" pipe didn't vibrate against it. This is with a dif exhaust though but I think that probably is the problem.

Good luck.
