Pics of My Engine Paint Job & CAI
well I did it last wed but havent been able to take pics till today. The whole job took me about 4 or 5 hrs and cost about $20.00 bucks but is a great improvement. Hey,
I LOVE the paint job, it's sweet. But all that paint's gonna flake off the rubber IACV hose, PCV hose and spark plug wires.
I planned on going for the exact same look, only with powdercoating. Red/Silver/Black engine bay is gonna be sweet!
Also, although I admire your intake setup, and it does get fresh air from the outside. It's not a Cold Air Intake. Filter must be outside the engine bay.

unless there is some piping that takes it into the fenderwell, that is not a true cai. the paint probably will flake off, even if you bought paint with a flex additive. its still not that flexible and will eventually flake off as soon as the rubber hoses are moved around a little bit
