well I did it last wed but havent been able to take pics till today. The whole job took me about 4 or 5 hrs and cost about $20.00 bucks but is a great improvement. I should have taken pics while i was doing it but hey look at the before pic and this link has the rest of the pics with my new CAI $90.00 with adapter. http://photos.yahoo.com/n34jz

looks pretty good, but that looks like a pop charger to me and not a cai. it cost you $90 for the filter!?

ohh, so you do have a cai but you just havent put it on yet? is it a true cai, for only $90? what year max are you gonna get?

Hey,

I LOVE the paint job, it's sweet. But all that paint's gonna flake off the rubber IACV hose, PCV hose and spark plug wires.

I planned on going for the exact same look, only with powdercoating. Red/Silver/Black engine bay is gonna be sweet!

Also, although I admire your intake setup, and it does get fresh air from the outside. It's not a Cold Air Intake. Filter must be outside the engine bay.

It wont flake off i bought the right paint. but the intake was only $90.00 because my friend works at the place %20 discount

unless there is some piping that takes it into the fenderwell, that is not a true cai. the paint probably will flake off, even if you bought paint with a flex additive. its still not that flexible and will eventually flake off as soon as the rubber hoses are moved around a little bit

i didnt paint the hoses though

most are new an the rest were fine
