I agree 100%. I'm amazed at how LITTLE I have to press the gas to get going and to accelerate. This JWT ecu is killer for this weather! If I mash the gas in first, my 245-45-17 Comp TAs are a spinnin'!

I can stomp on it in 2nd and spin my 17"s, but it must be awesome with the ecu though, I gotta get one.

A meet in this weather, we better bring some hot chocolate. Oh yeah the weather makes the car feel real good. I hate the summer Its just good for keeping the car clean.

No it's not. it rains here at least three times a week.

in the first 3 weeks (21 days) we were in Houston, it rained on 18 of those days. ugh.

could somone explain the ecu's that JWT has. i know there are two on their site for the automatic and two on their site for the manual. what is the difference and can you just plug them in. also what kind of gains are seen?

The weather sucks, but I do agree once the engine warms up the torque is unbelievable. Lately i've been spinning the wheels alot, but that may have to do with the fact that the inner threads on tires are almost down to the metal.

It's been two months since I drove my VE. Its is safely tucked away for winter. However, the VG is doing alright in this weather too. I'm kinda suprised.

i kinda overreacted on the engine thing, but i think i now have the same problem izzy had/has..

it sputters/hesitates until around 3k where the VTCs kick in then it pulls fine. I thought it was something with the clutch when i was driving home from the shop today until i found out that this happens in neutral as well

oh well one problem at a time.. i got the pedal mount welded today like the diagram you sent, ill send you a pic of it. im just waiting on the new pedal bracket to come in on backorder

whats wrong with you NY guys? special magic dust floating around that attacks VE's or something?

The only guy who doesn't seem to be having any troubles is my twin.

I dont think Izzy has that problem, unless your talking about when his injector went bad, but a new engine is alittle overkill for that problem, how did you weld anything with out the bracket?

I love the power I get in 20degree weather. But I like rolling my windows down, bumping the system, and pimping the Max much better.

I think us NY guys should have a meet. I would love to meet you guys and see all the great stuff you have done to your cars. If anyone else wants to have one we should try to set something up.

A nice 10 degree BBQ sounds GREAT!
