Does Nissan Service Center Carry Screws?

Would the Nissan Service Center carry the screws that hold the rear speakers into the rear deck of the car? I just went to the hardware store and bought 2 different sets of screws that looked exactly the same as the stock screws but they do not fit. Reason I need screws is that I only have 4 pairs of the stock screws and I need 8. So do any of you know if the service center would have them?

They might, but it will be a LOT cheaper if you buy them from a hardware store...

take the OE ones with you when you go in and just match it up. and don't bother looking at the SAE stuff- you know these are metric.

yep, you probably bought SAE..most hardware stores in the US have their metric parts in their specialized fasteners area of the fasteners section..I don't recall what size the screws are, but you can't go by looks alone..find the metric area and look there and then match up the looks..

or you can probably find them from a junk yard...I don't think most people bother trying to salvage the bose speakers so you can probably find a few cars with them intact

you'd actually be surprised.. junkyards will pull the Bose stuff because it's common to fail. regular factory stuff they could care less about, but they'll pull the bose. and they usually just dump the screws where they fall.

last time I was at the junkyard, I just walked around under the maximas with a 5 gal bucket and picked up all kinds of screws, nuts, bolts, etc.
