Rear Speaker brackets.. Need 6.5 have 6x9

Rear Speaker brackets.. Need 6.5 have 6x9

Hey guys,
Do you know where I can get the rear 6.5 speaker brackets? I'll trade someone my 6x9's if they have te 6.5's

go to any car audio shop.. they will either have brackets there or be able to make some for you. it's not hard.

well, im just talking about a trade, someone on here has to have thr 6.5's they dont use or want a set of 6x9's

To my knowledge the rear speakers do not have brackets, but rather are mounted directly into the metal between the rear window and trunk.

I know for a fact that my car (94 gxe with active rear speaker | non-bose) is like this. It's factory speaker was 6.5"

It is nice to see someone seek out round speakers instead of 6x9's. I have been told that non-circular speakers have worse response and overall sloppier sound than round ones.

yeah i don't think you need brackets. my 6.5s just mounted directly onto the rear metal deck. it's usually guys that want to go from 6.5 to 6x9 that need brackets.

ok then, withthe 6x9's they dont give you quality and suck at imaging. let the subs do the bass and make it sound good.
