stock ride height
I dont know if its just me but it seems to me that the stock SE's ride lower than GXE's. I know that the wheel well gap on my stock GXE was huge. I see stock SE's driving around that arent too bad at all. And then I see cars like James92SE's with springs that are as low as my ST's after I cut them. Does anyone know if there is a differnce because I know for sure that my car didnt sit as low as some of the SE's on here after thier springs. I think thats why some of the guys are so worried about the drop. I know that on my GXE I could drop it 3" with no problems at all, and I would still have a fender gap. People need to consider the differnent ride heights of GXE's to SE's if this is true.
i think your right. i've been seeing a lot of third gen gxe's lately and i'm always amazed at how high they seem. looks like there's 5 inches wheel gap (especially the front wheel). and i'm always thinking how my car was not nearly that high, or at least didnt seem like it.
my 4x4 gxe
yeah, my gxe has a really nasty wheel gap. i think its because the se are the sport edition or something to that effect of the 3rd gens and the gxe are the more luxory class. if i am correct, the se has the sport tuned suspension right? so that could be why the gxes are higher. but to tell the truth, i think all stock 3rd gens are high looking.
