Dont bother trying to modify the stock thing inside the air box, instead just buy a MAF adapter, they dont cost that much.

Just snag a K&N cone filter and maf adapter (ebay is good)

careful on those ebay MAF adapters though. most of the time, they're designed to fit other nissan engines, but the sellers can care less and put "maxima" on their list as well.

Listen to this man. I bought one and of course it doesn't even come close to fitting. Complete waste.

how much does piggie sell for and are they just intakes or CAI's. I want a CAI but any intake is better that box. Unless I get the stillen filter.

IIRC you have to look for the maf adapter for a 300Z to get the right size one.
'Cause the "maxima" one is for the altima in reality

I got an MAF adapter off ebay and it's junk as far as Maximas are concerned. Does it fit Sentras, too, Brian? I know a kid with a sentra and I might just give it to him.

I have a pop charger (MAF adapter and cone filter) from Piggie on my car, but I would get the 300z one like Internetautomart suggested, because I'm not sure when Piggie is going to get caught up with his orders and stuff.

Don't know about the sentra, never looked.

I had an adapter with the K&N filter and today I finished putting a SS tube. Looks pretty good. The tube is for a 90-93 Accord but with a little mod, it looks prety COOL. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Good night Dudes......
