I might just get the stock spoiler. But since I am getting a new trunk too since the silver trim part is falling off and I'm too lazy to glue. Plus I am considering the stock spoiler why not just get the stock SE trunk. I am getting a new paint job too.

Aluminum wings on ANY car are FUGLY. especially anything made by APC...

If you want a wing, get something body colored, and keep it conservative. Don't disgrace those nice body lines by sticking a big fugly ricer wing on it.
stock, or stillen type II are about the only things that look good on our cars, IMO.

Just think of how hard it would be to wax around those pedestals! Regarding aluminum wings in general, why is it that all of the ricers I see with them tighten them down so hard? Almost all of them put huge dents in their trunk lids around the pedestals!

There's no point to an aluminum wing like that on a street car, let alone a FWD sedan like ours. The only thing any similar type of wing belongs on is something like a professional racing 911 Gt3-R, BMW, Ferrari or some other professional track car. Some of those type of cars actually have street legal variants, and I could understand using some big wing on them on the street seeing how they'd usually be capable of close to 200mph, if not more and need lots of downforce. Of course, you're probably never going to go that fast on normal streets. However, APC stuff is crappy quality compared to what pros would use for track use. Besides, lots of rear downforce isn't a great idea for a FWD car, unless countered by more front downforce. You'll end up getting more lift in the front, which means less traction on the front wheels. It looks wrong on a street car period.

IMO don't do it! But if the bid stays at $1 then maybe it won't hurt ur pocket to much and you can see for urself once it arrives. Its not as bad as the silver ones.

The stock look is the only way to go, IMO. Better to look conservative and be bad under the hood...

seriously, what do those things do for a max, you should get a big one, and face it the other way so that it pushes air down and see what drifting is like. hell slap on some cessna wings and a prop and let her rip

I might not be in CT for long because I am trying to got to The University of South Carolina next school year. The VG will get turboed, NAWSED up (inc. stickers), and then I will drag. So I might need a lift off wing..... Maybe not... But I am going with the autoearth spoiler. It will look good on the GXE after the paint job in April, the 17's, and a hot chick.

definatly a no on the giant rice wings. they are not meant for a maxima. just the stock or stock looking wings. and why would anyone need a down-force spoiler on a front wheel drive car?

now when you get that wing, if you do, you need a huge ram air, big air duct for the bodykit. and then slap on some whings, you knw it makes you go soooo much faster

No... It has to be much taller, with two or three wings and painted multi colors with lots of stickers before it even STARTS to look good.

Why settle for a forkful of rice when you can get the whole pot?

Don't forget the fake roll-cage, you need that extra "protection" when going so fast.

p.s. to complete out the look I would recommend a muffler with at least a 4" pipe.

ehh...this thread is starting to go down the toilet. the thing i want to know is how the word "rice" got associated with that kind of trend (ie large spoilers, stickers, etc etc)
