I might just get the stock spoiler. But since I am getting a new trunk too since the silver trim part is falling off and I'm too lazy to glue. Plus I am considering the stock spoiler why not just get the stock SE trunk. I am getting a new paint job too.
RICE RICE RICE>>>>>>> imo get a stock wing or nothing i hate those wings i see all those civics running around with them and all i can think about when i see them is WE HAVE LIFT OFF!!!!!!!!!!! lol but seriously your on the right path of talkin a stock spoiler autoearth.com has them for 98.00 plus shipping check em out.
Aluminum wings on ANY car are FUGLY. especially anything made by APC...
If you want a wing, get something body colored, and keep it conservative. Don't disgrace those nice body lines by sticking a big fugly ricer wing on it.
stock, or stillen type II are about the only things that look good on our cars, IMO.

i don't like aluminum wings very much at all either but there's something about this wing that might just have me buy it.

someone stop me before it's too late...i seriously may get it. oddly enough i like drag style wings.

Regarding aluminum wings in general, why is it that all of the ricers I see with them tighten them down so hard? Almost all of them put huge dents in their trunk lids around the pedestals!
There's no point to an aluminum wing like that on a street car, let alone a FWD sedan like ours. The only thing any similar type of wing belongs on is something like a professional racing 911 Gt3-R, BMW, Ferrari or some other professional track car. Some of those type of cars actually have street legal variants, and I could understand using some big wing on them on the street seeing how they'd usually be capable of close to 200mph, if not more and need lots of downforce. Of course, you're probably never going to go that fast on normal streets. However, APC stuff is crappy quality compared to what pros would use for track use. Besides, lots of rear downforce isn't a great idea for a FWD car, unless countered by more front downforce. You'll end up getting more lift in the front, which means less traction on the front wheels. It looks wrong on a street car period.

Maybe not... But I am going with the autoearth spoiler. It will look good on the GXE after the paint job in April, the 17's, and a hot chick.

Why settle for a forkful of rice when you can get the whole pot?
