I know the 97's are able to swap in a 95/96 ECU for a JWT or technosquare upgrade and that the 99's have no ECU option at this point. Are the 98's able to do this? As I have been looking around i have seen some say that you can and others say you can't.

you will get check engine lights. the newer 99s or SELs have a different ecu than any other 4th gens

most likely you will get a rear o2 sensor code
