couple things I did under warranty
here is a list of stuff I did under warranty.
almost within 2 weeks after getting my car last summer, got an intake (ractive with heat shield around it), light blubs, and an exhaust from a shop up in chicago.
anyways, within 3 seconds after turning on the newly installed lights (swear I didn't touch the lenses), those blubs blew on me.
so, I spent the next weekend tooling my car. took out the housing, flushed it with 3 big bottles of rubbing alcohol (to get rid of the blueish glass bits) and reinstalled the housing.
then installed the tokicos and eibach setup myself with friends.
took my car in for an oil change and *****ed about the blown housing...they replaced it for free, hail damaged my corner lamp (cracked it, so was replaced for free as well).
my car needed an alignment after the shocks and springs...mechanic charged me $12.35 for the job (cited geometry aligned under warranty).
recently turned my rotors and installed axis metal master pads paid $200 for four rotors turned and installation.
oh even installed the razo gun style shift **** available from autoimaging.com and the mechanic didn't say a word.
perhaps its cos at my first oil change, I'd already done the intake and exhaust and they were revving my engine in the service bay. gave one look at the service manager and he gave me the next 2 oil changes off for embarrassment.
think I'm on the verge of getting voided of my warranty, have about 16,000 miles on my car and am thinking of the supercharger instead of cosmetic upgrades like wheels...etc.
sleeper look then killer look...want to have go then show.
happy reading.
