well. what can i say. saving money by replacing one injector at a time is not saving any money, really. the time it takes to dismantle the top of the engine again and again to replace one by one is time/money lost. bite the bullet and buy all parts even if the rest seem fine. take 3 asprin and get plenty of fluids, too.

 

lol, rear injectors? front's I'd just do one at a time, rear I'd do all 3 because you have to take all sorts of crap off to get to them.

 

VE fronts are easy.
Don't know about the VG tho.
I'd still do em all at once.

That is, plenty of fluids, without the gas.

 

vg isn't too bad. just take off the top two intake pieces and the injectors are right there. it gets annoying taking it off multiple times though. if you get impatient you can ruin the gaskets pretty quickly. usually i just have trouble with the upper gasket since the gasket i have that goes inbetween the spacer type piece and the lower manifold is metal.

 

tis true. it isn't too bad, per se, but annoying as you said. and that is time eaten out of everything, especially when it has already been "done." another thing is that the injectors themselves are expensive little things. like seventy bucks each. you add that up and you got to fork over like 450-ish bucks for all of them. and that is why i did the one-at-a-time way. so it is a big circle. it is like a snake eating it's own tail.

you have boost, mtcookson, right? so that is why you have the metal gasket?
