Im going to try the 5 polargs. I only found 1 polarg left in my garage so I guess its time to buy more. Originally I was going to do LEDs but the leds are too narrow of a beam

Try the Single LED Wedge Base bulbs from http://www.superbrightleds.com
they light up from the side as well as the top. If only i had a digi cam.
I got the blue ones, they are brighter than any other blue bulb i tried.

Thanks z-dan I just placed an order with them. The 194 bulbs are the same in the 99 as they are in 95-97 right? just wanted to make sure i got the right ones.

I got a bunch of those right here but I wasnt shure if they would be bright enough for me. How do those compare to the brightness of a polarg 194?

I can only speak for the Blue ones. I got some blue 194 polargs from autozone and can tell you the 194 LEDs were at least 50% brighter than them. don't know about the white ones though.

No no im sorry, i forgot to mention it was only the 95-97 that use the 194's, 98-99 uses a diferent bulb a #74 or somthing im not really sure. sorry for the confusion, i was telling Nismo about them and he has a 97.

Sped if you can't cancel the order you can always use them for the door lights or sell them here on the .org, sorry again.

crap hah.. I wish there was a way to call them and cancel that order. I placed a 2nd order with them just now and in comments i asked for my 1st one to be cancelled. Also going to email them in the 1st confirmation email they sent to try and cancel it because I selected overnight shipping and im going to get raped on that if i do have to return the wrong bulbs. ah well live and learn.

RI-Max - www.superbrightleds.com

BTW- I just put in 5 polarg hyper whites in and it has a slight Pink/Red tint to them so I took them out and put the stock bulbs back in.
I tried the 194 LEDs I had and they are not bright enough for me, even the 6led 194(the brightest) isnt bright enough for me. Oh well

with polargs it was bright like the pic above but it had a slight red tint to it

with PIAA hyperwhite it looked too blue

with white 6LED it looked like hyperwhite like that pic above

with clear bulbs it looked yellowish

with amber bulbs it looked amber

with stock bulbs(clear bulb with a blue rubber condom cover) it looked white which I left it at since I wanted pure white

A quote from Superbrightleds.com:

"They have a built in current limiting resistor and diode to protect the led from reversed polarity installation. If you plug them in and they don't light, turn them around and they will light."
