Any Tips, hints, suggestions?

hey guys.

My red/clears and clear bumper lights will arrive tomorrow. ive read about peoples diamond cut lights falling off and gettin crushed under the tires or being stolen easily and ive heard from a quite a few people that the red/clears are hard to install.

so i just wanted to hear from people who might have some suggestions on how to install them. i might be makin a big deal outt this or what not but hey, its always good to use other peoples experience!

btw if anyone has instructions for the red/clears, please share em.

thanks !

When I first installed my clear bumper lights they were kind of loose so I srewed out the little nub a couple turns so that it would fit down in the little plastic thing and now they are on there nice and snug. As for the red/clear taillights, they werent all that hard to install. The only thing to look out for when installing them is not to get any of that black goo on the car because its hard as crap to get off. Good luck with the installs and enjoy

I reccomend you get a heat gun for the tails. For me, one side came off fairly easily, but the other side I had to drive over to a friend's house with one side clear and one side stock to borrow his heat gun. Makes your life a lot easier. Also, won't be as easy to break your stock tails when pulling. The front clears are easy to install and for the most part will stay in if you screw them in tight and install correctly. Good luck.

both are insanely easy to install. but then again i installed my red/clears in the summer so the black stuff wasnt really that big of an issue. as far as having the clear corner come off, i never had a probelm and i didnt secure at all. i even went through several car washes with nothing wrong. if you live in an area where something like that is a hot commodity it may be better to just let the crook have them easily rather than have him struggle, get mad and do something worse. good buy and good luck!

why didnt you just make your own red/clears? if i were you, i'd make my own and sell the red/clears you bought. as far as the clear corners....i've had mine for 2 years now with no problems.
