Why won't a 2000 Trans fit a '95-99?

Why won't a 2000 Trans fit a '95-99?

I found a low mileage trans local to me but the interchange says it doesn't fit. What is different???

I've read somewhere on here it's the linkages? I may be wrong.. there are tons of people on here that know though..

It fits. All you need is to get 2000 axles, just the passenger I think.

yep. thats pretty much it. a 2k-2k1 tranny should bolt right up.
