H&R Springs

Are now available for the 04 max. 1.4 front 1.3 rear.. Looks like some parts are starting to come out.. I had H&R on my 98 max and they are very smooth.

the 1.3 in the rear sounds like the wheel will have a real nice tuck, but the 1.4 up front ain't sh*t, someone's gotta make the front a 2.5" drop. I had a set of H&R's on one of my max's and I loved the ride.

Problem is there are no aftermarket shocks available and anything that drops lower then that will be a problem..

1.3 in the rear?! That sounds like its going to rub tire, regardless what rims you're running.

1.3 does sound like a lot, I have the Eibach kit (2.0 in. front and .08 in. rear) with 20's. There's barely any room with .08 in. 1.3 is gonna be tight...

I hadn't seen the specs on the Eibach springs before, but I like them. In stock trim, the rear looks "just right" to me, while the front has to much wheelwell gap -- looks like they saw this too, and sized the springs accordingly.

Why is it that a 3 series has no gap from the factory, yet Nissan has to make the front look like a 4x4? I don't get that.

I don't know, I think 1.3 in the rear is a little low myself.. I just can't imagine 2.0 in the front being good on stock shocks.. I want to buy springs but I don't want to make a mistake. I had H&R on my 98 and I love the way it drove. Better then stock..

I do plan on replacing the stock shocks as soon as they come out. It does ride pretty good as is though. I wish I had a bit more in the front though the little gap is bugging!!

Really, I woul;d think that 2.0 in the front would eliminate almost all the gap.

I think the eibach kit is about perfect, if only I could lower my car. (I couldn't get in in my garage if a did )

I guess I shouldn't complain it looks awesome and rides great, never mind the little gap ain't so bad!!!!
It sounds like your drive way has an arch to it, I bottomed out on one the other day, nasty noise.
That sucks, you might have to move to accomodate the Max!!!!

No, my driveway is as steep as a ****ing cliff. See it in my sig, it's like a 6 to one slope. I can get on to it fine at an angle, but then when I pull into the garage the car will scrape, I had to raise the floor 3 inches to allow for enough clearance to get the max in there, and if I have another person and a full tank of gas, the car will still scrape.

Damn i dont know what to get.. I still think that 2.0 in the front is way too low for shock struts, but from the pics it doesn't seem that the springs drop the car 2.0.. I am so undecided. How is the camber on the Eibach's.. I just had really good luck with the h&R.. I hope I dont make a mistake.
