Sterling Mist w/ shaved trunk

I'm thinking about shaving my trunk and putting the emblem on my dash. Can the sterling mist max's on the org post pics of their car with a shaved trunk. Especially if you don't have a spoiler.....i'm beginning to think it will look weird without "MAXIMA" on the back. What do you guys think? Thanx

i personally want to just shave off the nissan emblem, and leave the maxima. i think it needs the maxima to tie it all together, unless you get rid of it all. And if you take off the nissan symbol, you can put it on your ash tray thing.

if u decide to shave ur trunk, do not use the same M_A_X_I_M_A symbol on your dash. Its too long and oogly.Use the smaller one from custommaxima.

even though i just have the burger shaved, if i could do it again, i'd leave the burger and shave the maxima. i think cars like that look hot too! i scratched under the maxima letters when changing from faded gold to the silver/chrome so i don't really want to shave maxima now.

i just shaved my trunk today, got rid of the max, and the nissan emblem. It looks pretty sweet on the dark evergreen. Just gotta get rid of the outlining of the letters. Any suggestions?

It will come off with some car washing, I have trouble taking off super glue on my burger emblem. It was a big stupid mistake, I stuck the burger emblem with super glue on the back, after swapped my gold emblems for slivers, and shaved the maxima off. Now I have silver emblems (with the rear emblem looking like if it had some water dribbling down. Dont know what to use, I've tried glue gone, gasoline, ............. any suggestoins. Oh but the maxima outline is gone.

How do you go about shaving off any emblems safely? I'd rather not dmage the paint if possible.

I say shave it all. It would look especially good if you get red/clears eventually. I also have pics of the maxima emblem on a tan dash. I can e-mail them to you, but I don't have anywhere to host them.

About shaving, If you've ever been rearended or repainted they will not come off with fishing line because body shops use a much stronger glue; I believe it is epoxy. I had to pry mine up and then sand away the epoxy that was left over. I was doing full paint at the time so it didn't matter.
