Is this a good 4th gen to buy

1995 Maxima SE Manual Does this car seem like a good car. For the manual tranny is it a 5-speed or 6 speed. I am discarding my 3rd gen due to bad (slipping) tranny and I don't think that putting another 1500+ dollars in a 14 year old car is justified. Please post comments about this car (I like the shaved look)

manual is 5 spd
It looks like a good car. For $3500 you can afford to do a few repairs that may be needed.

yeah I am only paying for half my parents pay the rest so I am really feeling this car. The only thing that won't make me buy it is probably a bad tranny. I saw about 5 other 4th gens mainly auto's 1995-1996 for about 5 grand. I want a 5 speed soo bad but if not I will have to naws it up

well with over 150K on it I would bet he has already replaced the diff bearings. You might want to inquire about that though.

looks like it's been dolled up with 97-99 se rim even though it's a 95. Kinda high mileage though. I say if you can get it to under 3000 then it'll be worth it.
