Motor/Tranny Mounts
Motor/Tranny Mounts
Having some clunk with my 5-speed letting off clutch to shift (esp. 1 - 3), and pretty bad when cruising on the highway in 5th. I'm guessing its the mounts with 120k on them. Where can I get some aftermarket or even OEM (cheaper then dealer) mounts? I wish I could search
u could fill them with polyurathane to to make them a little stronger, or u can buy aftermarket one for like 230 for the front and the back ones....i don't think this has anything to do with the side mounts.....try to fill them and see if that works if it don't then ur mounts are ok. You only have to fill the front and the back ones.
ur gonna have to take them off sence the front one has plates and i think the back one does too, the thing that i filled my front one with is that cement anti crack...it gets preaty strong but still flexible. they are drying right now. just got to home depot and u wil find it there for like 3 bucks a tube....i can get u then name of the product if ya want it.
e-mail this guy motormount@optonline.net his names Uri, tell him paragv @ juno.com sent u, and ask for what you need. i had a problem with the side mounts, but u dont need those anyways, the front and rear are what you need should run about 130 or so
How much do new stock mounts cost. What's the part #?
maxima98vspec - What's the name of that $3 poly. The FAQ instructions stated that poly cost 20 bones. Let us know how your filled mounts work out for you performance wise. Thanks.
