when i come a stop, or brake along at like 1-2 mph, i get really rough ride...i dont know why its doing this. it did it when my stock muffler was messed up, so i got the muffler replaced, and it stopped, but it started doing it again. anyone got any thoughts or suggestions? It's got new bosch plugs thats ive yet to replace, yeah theyre bosch, but still new plugs.

I think I have the same thing you're describing. I posted and didn't get any feedback. Mine seemed to start as the temperatures got cold Nov/Dec. It seems better since my trans fluid was changed, but that my be psychological.

If it is the same, you feel it as your coming to a stop, just at the end, below 10 mph? It's almost like when you accelerate fast and have to stop quickly and the transmission is downshifting but the engine take a little longer to come down and you feel the vibration.

One thing you can check would be your trans fluid level. Make sure it's topped off. Like I said, it seemed better after my fluid change. I still feel it some but it does seem better. I haven't check the fluid level since the change. I should so a follow-up check myself.

It feels to me like it has something to do with the transmission. I don't know much about the innerworkings of an automatic transmission to guess. Like I said before though, it seems like the rpm's are too high for the gear it's in. Just like what you feel if you wait a little too long to press the clutch in a manual when slowing or stopping.

I could understand these things if it was a constant rough idle but the issue I'm talking about, and I think eckohb is talking about, is that there is vibration while decelerating from 5-10mph to stop. Idle is fine otherwise.

As I said earlier, it feels similar to when you hold the clutch out a little to long on a manual trans when stopping. It's a general vibration. Not steering, just slightly all over, generally front end. Nothing destinctive to say, "brakes", "steering", "suspension". It's something related to engine/trans. If I drop it into neutral right before I'm expecting the vibration, I don't feel any vibration.
