In my '97se, The y-pipe fit perfectly except for the rear o2 sensor hole was angled differently than the stock hole. I had to remove the heat shield behind the drive axle to fit the sensor in. Am I going to have a problem with this shield not there? The acceleration past 4000 rpm is great. I shifted into second at a measly 5300 rpm and the tires squealed pretty well (accidentally). I saw a cop 100' away after I did this, but he didn't seem to care.

How much did you pay and how long did it take to get it delivered? Did you get new gaskets too?
How long did the install take?

I got the aluminum pipe for $255 I think (it was whatever the warpspeed web site price was). It took 2 weeks or so to get it though. Gaskets were included. The install took about 6 hours (mainly because of some rusty bolts that required torching, cutting, and chiseling...and I don't really know what I'm doing).

Just curious is it really loud? Do you have a catback system? Thanks

It is completely quiet except a hiss when under moderate to heavy acceleration. I just have a jwt popcharger cone intake. Warpspeed sent me a stainless steel pipe with the oxygen sensor location fixed to replace the aluminum one that I had to remove the heat shield for (no charge + they said they'd pay for shipping of the aluminum one back to them). Wow. Customer service/appreciation in 2001? Who would have guessed. I would highly recommend these guys.

That would fall under the category of "Exceeding customer's expectations" and in this day and age, it is very rare. Hats off to WSP. (You ship mine out yet? I've already lubricated my nuts?)

That's a personal thing that I think you don't have to share with the forum.

What, that I've lubricated the nuts and bolts on my existing Y pipe to make them easier to come off when I get my new one. I'm being serious, it's just that it does have a double meaning which you don't find funny. Excuse me.

Just kidding with you man. Actually you're lucky that you got in on the group deal. You sent me your info for the Warpspeed deal. But I just forwarded it to the right person.
I ordered mine the second that I got the Paypal info, so hopefully it'll be coming soon....I can't wait!

My inspection is do. Do you guys think I should do emissions and inspection first and then install the pipe? I live in PA, so we have pretty stringent emissions, and I don't feel like failing.
