Can you splice into the Bose system for the 2004's?

Hey guys, is it possible to hook up a seperate DVD/MP3 player to the factory system (2004) so I can utilize the great Bose sound? How would you splice into the system etc??? any ideas....where is the amp(s) located? What kind of inputs does the system use? RCA type or speaker type etc?? Any help is greatly appreciated....

I was just going to say that....you can even use a wireless FM mod and you won't have to splice into any of the bose wiring.
