Rubber hoses that go in and out of the firewall

Well upon some inspection that I did last week and today I found that these little some rubber hoses are linking antifreeze a little.

What are the name of the hoses that go into and out of the heater core inside the engine bay against the firewall??
Because if that is the case in that is probably one reason why my heat does not work at its greatest ability.

Any suggestions and answers!!!

Thanks

Heater don't work well because of low fluid. Fix the leak. Hose clamps might be loose. Core might be leaking at line also.

Well thanks their man I already know the hose clamps are making it leak. They are on too tight and have made a little cut in the hose. I already know about the fluid and it is not low. But I guess adding some want hurt. I probably need to bleed the air out of the system too.

If the core was leaking at the line then wouldnt be all over my interior and smell bad inside the car?? This is not the case.

Sometimes when you get a core leak, it doesn't smell too bad, but your windows will fog up easy. The leak can be very tiny and there just isn't enough fluid coming out to cause it to get to the interior or smell.

I would start by replacing all of your hoses and easier stuff first and see if that fixes the problem. The heater core is a PITA. Someone did one recently up here at MrGone's house (aw89MaxSE) and I think it took all day with several guys helping out.
