Cold Start Problem Acknowleged by Nissan - TSB Issued
Just received a call from my dealer today regarding the cold start problem I have been having (problem very similar to others)
- one morning car stalled while being warmed up (around 15 deg outside) after restarting, it would only go about 20mph and not above 3000 rpm
- two other times, it flat out would not start at 18 degrees or below
- has a difficult time starting when below 35 degrees (eventually it "catches" and then runs roughly for a couple moments at 750 rpm's before kicking into 1500 rpm fast idle
So, Nissan finally put out a TSB (today, I believe) and they indicate that in the "Northeast in extreme temperatures of 15 degrees or below, the Fuel Pump fails" (paraphrased per my phone conversation with the dealer). Nissan will replace affected fuel pumps (Mine was ordered first thing today...nice to have a dealer who is also a neighbor to put the pressure on Nissan to deal with the problem)

What is the TSB# and is there a link to it so I can print it out for my next trip to the dealer?
