Does putting your muffler silencer on your tip decrease your performance

 

i'd definately imagine so, it's blocking airflow which is the whole purpose of an exhaust. get a resonator or two, or even three if you're nuts about it, to quiet down your exhaust.

plus, those silencers that are visible look stupid.

 

depends on the silencer i'd imagine...but i heard they really don't knock down the hp much at all.
