Weird. Car died during traffic

Doesn't happen all the time. Just when I am coming home and even then it is not consistent. What happens is when I am driving the RPM's will drop from about 800 to about 500 and then the car will stall. Not to bad since I am just sitting in gridlock. Happened twice to me in this week. One time the car cut off but I was able to keep the RPM's up enough to keep it from stalling. Sort of like a total loss of electrical power.

Probably will check the positive and negative battery connectors to make sure that they are making good contact and that they are on there good and secure.

Like I said...... Weird.

Anyone looking to buy a Saleen convertible?

Hmm. Check all ground wires. Check for a clean maf connection. Check for any vaccum leaks. Check that the idle air control is clean. EGR and PCV should be checked for proper operation and that they aren't clogged.

I did the PCV valve, now time to check all the other stuff.

The wheels look great. Much better than the stock Mustang 3 spokes.

Dude get some Redline Fuel System Treatment. Pour the entire bottle in with about 1/4 of a tank. It should solve your problem.

I agree...also you might clean the throttle body but that problem would have come on gradually.

I don't have any CEL light, but I did check it recently to see what was happening behind the scenes. I saw the knock sensor error code, but it hasn't tripped the CEL.
