thanks............
i currently have the exedy stage I, but i have been told by a few that the clutch is "slipping" ( i am A newb and i cant tell), but the person who i bought the car from sid they juts got it put in...
I'd stay with OEM unless you plan on running some sort of boost or nitrous. The OEM clutch is very stout assuming you by the true OEM clutch and not the aftermarket POS Nissan trys to sell you when you need a clutch replacement. The OEM clutch has to be purchased in parts and not as a kit. It will cost you about $285 for the disc, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. The "key value" blue Nissan clutch kit is POS and can't even handle the stock output of the VQ. This kit only costs $160 and you get what you pay for.
My stock clutch has 104K miles and well over 30 1/4 mile passes and it has yet to slip. To me, there's no reason to go with an aftermarket clutch if you stay NA because the OEM clutch grabs plenty hard, without being violent like some of the other aftermarket clutches which can possibly blow 2nd and 3rd gears.
